Club sponsor Bogong Equipment are hosting their first Adventure Workshop on Thursday, 29 January 2026 with Phunjo Lama. Phunjo Jhangmu Lama is a distinguished Nepali mountaineer, a Guinness World Record holder, and the fastest woman to have climbed Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. She reached the summit in 14 hours and 31 minutes and completed the full ascent in 9 hours and 18 minutes, setting a groundbreaking record unmatched even by male climbers. She further cemented her legacy with another extraordinary feat - completing the Everest Base Camp to Base Camp round trip in just 24 hours and 26 minutes.
