This event coincides with the Summer Day Valley event on Saturday 7 March. Climbing options for Sunday and Monday include Mount Staplyton, Tribute Wall and I Forget Walls. (Or on Saturday for participants not attending the Summer Day Valley event.)
Email the trip organiser for more information on the trip.
We are camping at the Stapylton Campground. The club has booked camping sites for trip participants for a cost of around $15 per person. The final cost will depend on the number of people. Otherwise, you can make your own accommodation arrangements.
When booking, select the ticket (below) with your choice: either the 'with camping' or the 'no camping' ticket.
The booked sites are suitable for tents only. Participants with campers, caravans or vans will need to make other arrangements.
This trip is open to members only, and novice, intermediate and advanced climbers. Find your level here at the Trip Participant Guidelines or contact the trip organiser.
Novice climber spaces are strictly limited by the number of advanced climbers who come along. Novices should contact the trip organiser as soon as possible after registering.
The club does not cater for beginners. Novice climbers attending trips are expected to have some climbing experience and minimum technical competencies. See the Trip Participant Guidelines for more information.
All intending participants can expect the trip organiser to ask for details about your climbing experience and gear.
Register your interest by 'buying' an online ticket here using the 'Get Ticket' button. Members will need to log onto the VCC Member Portal to register. All participants will be required to provide an emergency contact person and number in their member profile.
Follow the four steps when booking the ticket. There is no cost in Step 3 and you don’t need to download the tickets in Step 4. Only one member per booking.
This is important! The trip organiser will be in touch after you register online to confirm your booking. You are not booked on the trip until confirmed.
Online bookings close two days before the start date. Late bookings are not guaranteed a place on the trip but contact the trip organiser to check availability.
The club encourages car pooling. However, this is optional and each participant should make their own risk assessment. The trip organiser will contact participants before the trip to arrange carpools.
